Yes — you can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Subscription section of your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately, giving you instant access to new features. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep full access until then. If you drop to the Free Scout plan, any price alerts above the free tier limit are paused rather than deleted — they resume automatically if you re-upgrade later.

Our AI engine runs around the clock, scanning over 200 UK and international retailers — including Amazon, Argos, Currys, John Lewis, eBay, ASOS, and many more. For every product, we build a full price history, which means we can verify whether a retailer's "was £X, now £Y" claim is genuine or an inflated reference price. Our machine learning models also analyse seasonal patterns — things like Black Friday cycles, January sales, and end-of-line clearances — to predict when a price is likely to drop further, so you can decide whether to buy now or wait. Each deal is scored for quality based on discount depth, historical price context, stock levels, and retailer credibility before it ever reaches you.

Three days before your 14-day Pro trial expires, we'll send you a reminder email so you're never caught off guard. When the trial ends, you choose: continue on Pro (billing starts at that point) or drop to the Free Scout plan at no cost. We won't charge you automatically without a clear confirmation. If you switch to Free Scout, your wishlist, saved deals, and paused alerts are all preserved — nothing is deleted. You can re-upgrade whenever you like and pick up exactly where you left off.

Completely. We use Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment processors — to handle all transactions. Your card details are encrypted directly in your browser and never pass through our servers. Stripe is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest standard in the payments industry, and all data is protected by 256-bit TLS encryption. You can update or remove your payment method at any time from your account dashboard, and you'll receive an email receipt for every charge.

We monitor over 200 retailers across the UK and beyond. This includes major high-street names like Argos, Currys, John Lewis, Boots, and Next; online marketplaces including Amazon UK, eBay, and ASOS; supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Asda; and specialist retailers covering electronics, fashion, home, sports, and gaming. We're continually adding new retailers — if there's a specific store you'd like us to cover, you can request it through your dashboard. Pro and Enterprise users get early access to newly integrated retailers.

When you find a product you want, you can set a target price for it. Our AI monitors that product's price across all the retailers we track and sends you a notification — by email or in-app — within 60 seconds of the price dropping to your target or below. You can set alerts for specific retailers or let our AI watch all of them simultaneously and alert you to the best available price. Free Scout accounts can run up to 5 active alerts; Pro accounts get 50; and Enterprise accounts get 500+. You can pause, edit, or delete any alert at any time from your Price Alerts dashboard.

No. We do not sell your personal data or browsing behaviour to advertisers, retailers, or any third parties. The deals and recommendations you see are driven purely by our AI's analysis of publicly available pricing data — not by paid placements or commercial arrangements with retailers. The only third-party services we use are Stripe (for payment processing) and standard email infrastructure for notifications, both of which operate under strict data processing agreements.
